In 2025, Embracing Freedom continued its mission to combat child sex trafficking, providing crucial support to survivors across six counties. Our services ranged from crisis intervention and personal advocacy to awareness events and survivor graduation from our program. The following impact report highlights the key areas of service and the demographics of those we served this year.
Embracing Freedom is renovating a home to become the first short-term confidential Drop-In Center for survivors of child sex trafficking in Southeast Texas.
This safe home will be available as a needed short-term resting place for survivors recovered from trafficking. Assured of their safety, youth can sleep, eat, and unwind as our staff helps facilitate their next steps. Our hope is for this space to become a dedicated area that is calm and peaceful, which is essential for children with a history of severe trauma.

ASCO Foundation is partnering with Embracing Freedom for the third year in a row to help raise funds for The Brandice Drop-In Center - a safe place for youth survivors. ASCO is matching every donation dollar for dollar, up to $100,000! Doubling the impact, doubling their support.
